This is a source element. It is used to configure an SRT stream as input. It supports both caller mode and listener mode.

The name entered in this field distinct from the PIPE's name. This custom name is useful to identify specific inputs at a glance when a large number of PIPEs is configured. Example: Naming it “Studio Cologne” to see where the stream is coming from. |

| Override display name |
Changes the name by which this audio source element is displayed in the PIPEs list (instead of “Audio over IP”). Note that this is separate and distinct to the PIPE's name. Example: Naming it “Studio Cologne” to display where the incoming stream is coming from. |
| Passthrough |
Toggles whether incoming audio is decoded upon entering the system.

| Timestamp smoothing |
Toggles whether timestamps should be restamped if they do not match system time.

| Port | Sets the network port for communication. This must match the port that the sending side is streaming to. |
| Host |
Determines whether caller or listener mode is used. Caller mode: Enter the IP or hostname of the system you wish to call. Listener mode: Leave empty. |
| Network interface | Dropdown: Selects the network interface to use for the communication. |
| Local Port | Sets the local network port to bind communication to. |
| Passphrase | Enables encryption. Set a passphrase to enable encryption. The communication partner must have the same passphrase set. |
| Latency | Sets target latency in miliseconds. |
| Statistics Interval | Sets the time period after which the system is polled for new SRT statistics. Setting “0” disables stat polling. |
| Payload | Dropdown: Sets either the Default muxer or RTP payloading. If RTP is chosen, the following two options become available. |
| Call profile | Dropdown: Sets the Call profile to use for the payload. |
| Playout sync buffer | Enables distributed, synchronized playout. Buffer is set in miliseconds. |
| Raw data input |
Toggles whether non-media data input is accepted ("On") or not ("Off"). Note: Raw data will not be decoded. |
