Option	Description
Number of channels	Information field: Shows the number of currently used channels.
Sampling rate	Information field: Shows the current sample rate of the input.
Data vailable	Information field: Shows whether the audio source currently receives data.
Reset Pipe to waiting	Toggles behavior in case of no incoming audio data. On: The PIPE is set into waiting state until incoming data is detected at which point the PIPE becomes active. Off: The PIPE is stopped (turned off) if there is no incoming data after a short grace period.
Override display name	Changes the name by which this audio source element is displayed in the PIPEs list (instead of “Audio”). Note that this is separate and distinct to the PIPE's name. This is useful to identify specific inputs at a glance when a large number of PIPEs is configured. Example: Naming it “Channel 1,2” to see which input channels are used.
Passthrough	Toggles whether incoming audio is decoded upon entering the system. ON: Incoming audio is not decoded. On the output side, untouched audio is delivered. OFF: Incoming audio is decoded (and transcoded before leaving the system). Note: This option requires a license. See here for details.
Timestamp smoothing	Toggles whether timestamps should be restamped if they do not match system time. On: Turns timestamp smoothing on. Off: Turns timestamp smoothing off.
Mapping	Display the selected input channels for this PIPE. Editing the channels is done via the buttons to the right: Pencil: Opens the channel selector. In this menu, you can pick which input channels should be used. Trash: Removes the current channel mapping entirely.
Channel selection flag	Sets behavior when one or more channels are used by other PIPEs. Try: Return an error if this PIPE is started while one or more of the chosen channels are already in use by other PIPEs. Mix: Allow using the same channel as input for multiple PIPEs. Replace: Disconnect all other PIPEs which use the same channel when this PIPE is started. Exclusive: Reserve the selected channels for this PIPE. Other PIPEs cannot be started while any of these channels are selected in those PIPEs.
Mapped channels	Information field: Shows which channels are currently used. Note: Normally, these should be equal to the channels you configured. Some circumstances may make it impossible to use all configured channels.
