| Option | Description |

| Filename prefix |
Sets the naming scheme for files recorded with this sink. Placeholders are used to differentiate multiple files generated with the same sink. Check the tooltip for available placeholders. |
| Maximum file duration |
Sets the maximum file duration in seconds. Once this length is reached, the current file recording ends, and a new file is started. Setting “0” disables maximum file duration. |
| Maximum file size |
Sets the maximum file size in kB. Once this size is reached, the current file recording ends, and a new file is started. Setting “0” disables maximum file duration. |
| Align segments to wall clock | (Only applicable if Maximum file duration is not “0”) Toggles whether new files are started when the number of second since the unix epoch modulo reaches maximum file duration. |
| File multiplexer |
Dropdown: Selects what file multiplexer (container) is used for the recording.

| Write downloadable files | Toggles whether files recorded with this sink may be downloaded from the Archive. If this is “Off", files generated with this sink cannot be downloaded. |
| Persistent temporary files |
Toggles whether temporary files are written to volatile memory ("Off") or persistent storage ("On"). Temporary files include partial recordings in the process of being recorded. |
| Cue in | Sets a cue in delay for the recording in miliseconds. If a value other than “0” is set, this is the time after the PIPE is started, when recording begins. |
